Northwest Illinois CEO had a fantastic start to the week with a visit from Logan Gibbs, Workforce Development Specialist, and Caleb Feltmeyer, Reliability Engineering Manager, with ComEd.

They gave our students a look at the size and scope of ComEd and the many career paths available within the company. One message continued to surface throughout the morning: get involved, stay busy, and invest in your community.

Students learned about internship opportunities, the power grid, management and union career paths, along with practical résumé and cover letter tips. They wrapped up the morning with a fun hands-on challenge, building their own mini neighborhood—and turning on the lights!

Thank you, Logan and Caleb, for spending the morning with us and sharing your experience and insight!
