Leadership Is Not About the Title. It’s About How You Show Up!

Today, our Northwest Illinois CEO students visited Freeport City Hall and had the opportunity to hear from Mayor Jodi Miller about leadership, entrepreneurship, and community involvement.

From owning Union Dairy in Freeport to serving as mayor, and now helping guide her sons on their own entrepreneurial journeys, Mayor Miller shared valuable lessons from her experiences.

She reminded students that mistakes are not always failures, but opportunities to learn and grow. She encouraged them to get involved, say YES when opportunities arise, and never let anyone else define who they are.

Most importantly, leadership doesn’t begin with a title or at a certain age. It begins right now!

Thank you, Mayor Miller, for sharing your journey and encouraging our next generation of leaders and entrepreneurs!
